PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Introduction

DMV Exteriors & Restorations (“DMV Exteriors,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect two general categories of information.

Information you provide to us: When you submit a quote-request or contact form, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, and details about your project, such as the property address, the type of work you are interested in, and any comments you include. You provide this information voluntarily so that we can respond to you.

Information collected automatically: When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through your device and browser. This may include your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this usage and analytics data to understand how the Site is used and to keep it working properly.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: respond to your inquiries and communicate with you; prepare and provide estimates or quotes and schedule site visits; operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services; monitor and analyze usage and trends; measure and improve our advertising; protect the security and integrity of the Site and prevent fraud or abuse; and comply with legal obligations. With your consent where required, we may also use your contact information to send you marketing communications about our services. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.

Calls and Text Messages

When you submit a form on the Site and check the consent box, you agree that we may call or text you at the number you provide about your request, including to schedule an inspection or follow up on an estimate. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive calls or texts is not a condition of any purchase. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Cookies, Analytics and Advertising Tools

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help the Site function, remember your preferences, and measure how the Site is used. We use analytics and advertising tools, including Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, that set cookies and collect information about your visit. These tools help us understand visitor activity, measure how well our advertising works, and show our ads to people who have visited the Site.

Google Analytics is provided by Google LLC. It records the pages you visit, how you reach the Site, and whether you submit a quote request, along with technical details such as your device, browser, and approximate location. We use this information to understand how the Site is used and to measure the results of our Google ads. Google handles this information under its own Privacy Policy.

The Meta Pixel is provided by Meta Platforms, Inc., the company that operates Facebook and Instagram. It records actions you take on the Site, such as the pages you visit and whether you submit a quote request, and sends that information to Meta along with technical details such as your IP address, browser information, and cookie identifiers. It may also send contact details you enter in a form, such as your email address or phone number, in a hashed (encoded) form so Meta can match the visit to a Meta account. We use the Meta Pixel to measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads and to show our ads to people who have visited the Site. Meta handles this information under its own Privacy Policy.

When you first visit the Site, a short notice tells you about these tools. Most web browsers also let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Site may not function as intended.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of analytics and advertising tracking on the Site at any time. Click “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” at the bottom of any page, then choose “Do Not Sell or Share My Info.” After you opt out, the Meta Pixel is not loaded and Google Analytics and Google advertising cookies are turned off in that browser. Your choice is saved in your browser, so if you clear your browser data or use a different browser or device, you will need to opt out again.

Global Privacy Control: If your browser or browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data and of targeted advertising, and we do not load these tools for that browser. You do not need to take any other step.

You can also opt out by contacting us using the information below.

Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as website hosting, form processing, customer relationship management, analytics, advertising, email and communications, and related support services. These providers may access personal information only as needed to perform their services for us and are expected to protect it and use it only for that purpose. Advertising platforms such as Google and Meta also use information under their own privacy policies, as described in Cookies, Analytics and Advertising Tools above. We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of DMV Exteriors & Restorations, our customers, or others.

Sale of Personal Data and Targeted Advertising

We do not sell your personal information for money. We allow Google and Meta advertising tools to collect information about your visit so we can measure our ads and show you our ads on other sites and apps. Some state privacy laws treat this as targeted advertising, and some may treat it as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal data. You can opt out at any time as described in How to Opt Out above, including by sending a Global Privacy Control signal.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to respond to your inquiry, provide services, maintain business records, and comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. The Site is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You provide information to us at your own risk.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Your Choices and Rights

You have choices regarding your personal information. You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, or ask us to delete information, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain it. You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe option in an email, replying STOP to a text, or contacting us directly. To exercise any of these choices, please contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including those in Maryland, Virginia, and certain other states. These may include the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request access or deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to opt out of targeted advertising and of any sale of personal data, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. You can opt out of targeted advertising and any sale or sharing of personal data at any time using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the bottom of any page or a Global Privacy Control signal. If you would like to exercise any other applicable state privacy right, please contact us using the information below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date shown on this page. Any changes take effect when they are posted. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about how we handle your information.
